This is turning into a series of drabbles about Eöl. :)
Eöl loved to scoff at the greed he saw in others, for a greedy elf was a weak elf. His craft was all Eöl required, and the quiet life deep in the forest provided the dark tranquility he needed.
Long he lived without thought of the pain greed gave others, till the day when his eyes beheld Aredhel, he knew then what it meant to yearn. She was an elf of nightly beauty, face light like the moon and long hair dark as night. Aredhel was the darkness which he missed, and Eöl needed to take her as his own.
